R&B: Embark on Love's Journey🧡

Staff Member, Anne Marie Pfeiffer, practicing a heart mudra (symbolic hand posture) at the closing MFC retreat in June.

In Western culture, we are taught to ignore emotion, and in turn, we often miss the opportunity to develop skills in naming, voicing, and moving emotion in a healthy way through our words, actions, bodies, and lives. Yet, this is a skill we can practice and an intention we can set.

Copper Beech Institute is honored to welcome back Saki F. Santorelli for Love’s Journey: Polishing the Mirror of the Heart. This 5-night retreat will be a profound exploration of love and the heart’s innate luminosity.

As the former director of the Center for Mindfulness and Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Saki has devoted his life to exploring healing relationships and mentoring countless individuals locally and beyond. His work embodies a profound trust in the innate brilliance of human beings, and his teachings are infused with the fragrance of mindfulness and the wisdom of the heart.

In the words of our Board Chair, Kim Pita, “I love Saki, and always mark my calendar for his retreats.”

Inspired by the timeless poetry and story from the Sufi and Buddhist traditions, this 5-night immersive experience offers a space for you to turn toward your vulnerabilities, with support, and acknowledge where you have been less than true to yourself. Through guided and silent meditation and the intimate Sufi practice of Sobhet, – a connected, structured, and intimate form of meditative conversation and inquiry that invites us to bear witness to ourselves and one another as spiritual companions, we will co-create a community dedicated to healing, transformation, and the revelation of our deepest values.

5-Night Retreat with Saki F. Santorelli, EdD, MA

Sunday, June 1st at 5pm-Friday, June 6th at 1pm

IDEAL FOR: The retreat is open to all and a commitment to attend the entire course is a prerequisite for participation.
