Tom is a T’ai Chi instructor with 20 years of experience and a singular goal to make this amazing art accessible to everyone. His friendly and approachable manner makes students feel comfortable and successful the moment they meet him. Most notable is Tom’s love of t’ai chi and his ability to share his vast knowledge of this rich and complex art in an understandable format to get you started from day one of your practice.
Tom comes from an amazing t’ai chi lineage (descended from Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang) of which he is most proud:
- Current student of Dr. Yang Yang and certified to teach Evidence-Based Qigong and Evidence-Based Taiji programs
- A 12-year senior student of international t’ai chi champion Zhang Zhao Xun ( Hun Yuan/ Chen Style Taiji, Bagua, and Qigong)
- 5th Degree Kenpo Black Belt and 4th Degree Filipino Modern Arnis Black Belt
