The Celts, the early Christian saints and sages of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and other Celtic lands, are renowned for their poetry, myths and legends, and their hauntingly beautiful music. But they were also people of a vibrant and deep Christian spirituality, rooted in a deep love of nature and anchored in a joyful sense of Divine Presence.
On this silent retreat, we will celebrate the stories of the Celts and explore their prayers and practices — including the distinctively Celtic approach to contemplative prayer — that brings their ancient wisdom to our lives today.

On April 24th, on behalf of CBI, I attended the United Way of Great Waterbury’s 37th Celebration and Awards. Picture this: a room buzzing with anticipation, pulsating with the spirit of achievement and unity. And let me tell you, folks, it was a night to remember, dedicated to honoring the incredible power of philanthropy and community partnership.
